Michael's Badminton Academy (MBA) continues to strengthen their commitment in helping the needy for the betterment of the community through badminton by launching the Hope For Change - Badminton Charity Programme 2011
Hope For Change is a 10 months badminton charity program that caters to orphans, providing them an opportunity to discover and develop their innate potentials. This programme will provide basic badminton skills training to the children on a weekly basis throughout a duration of 10 months. Aside from physical development, we also place great importance on character development which could both be achieved by inviting motivational speakers and trainers of recognized caliber to run interpersonal skills developmental workshops.
Participating Homes
A total of 69 children aged from 8 - 17 years will be participating in this programme and the participating homes are;

To further instill and enhance the ambitions and aspirations of the children, we will also be organizing field trips to various international and national badminton tournaments, sports school to list a few. These trips will allow the children to see, feel, breathe and grasp the experience of being an athlete and drive their interest and love for the game even further than what was once something that could only be imagined.
